For qualified applicants there are two programs available for disability benefits from Social Security in Kansas City; Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Social Security Disability Income (SSDI). Who is eligible?

The maximum number of work credits that can be earned annually is four; the total number of credits that are necessary to qualify for benefits depends on the age of the applicant when he or she becomes disabled.
